Celebrate Juneteenth With Indigo Movement
It’s the month of celebration, and this week we’re talking about Juneteenth! Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day or Emancipation Day, commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States. The history of Juneteenth dates back to June 1865, when Union General Gordon Granger arrived in Texas, issued an order which proclaimed the freedom of all enslaved people in Texas.

This week we're introducing the Child's Pose, also known as Balasana in Sanskrit. This pose is a fundamental yoga pose that is commonly used as a resting pose in many yoga practices. It is a kneeling posture that involves sitting back on your heels with your arms stretched out in front of you and your forehead resting on the ground.
