Transition Into Fall with Ease

As the seasons shift, so does our bodies and routines. Fall is the perfect time to slow down, reflect, and nurture yourself as we move from summer’s energy into autumn’s grounding rhythm. At Indigo Movement, we’re here to support your wellness every step of the way.

Boost Your Immunity

September brings an abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables to enjoy. Apples, pears, grapes, figs, and pomegranates are in season along with some late-summer fruits like peaches, nectarines, and melons. On the vegetable side, you’ll still find tomatoes, eggplant, zucchini, and green beans, with early fall staples such as pumpkins, winter squash, kale, spinach, broccoli, and carrots. Try adding these fruits and vegetables into your meals or enjoying them as simple snacks. For the freshest selection, stop by your local farmer’s market—you can find some HERE.

Get Outside Daily

Even as the temperatures cool, getting outside daily is one of the best things you can do for your well-being. It clears the mind, boosts circulation, and helps ease stress. Try taking a short walk during your lunch break, sipping your morning tea outside, or walking around your block—it’s a simple but powerful way to stay energized and balanced throughout the season.

Make Time for You

As the season changes, our bodies often carry hidden tension from shifting routines, cooler weather, and the natural slowdown of fall. Scheduling time for restorative care can make a world of difference. A massage helps release built-up stress, improve circulation, and support your immune system as it adapts to the season. Book your appointment HERE. Your body will thank you later!

Cheers,
Indigo Movement Team

Fall Movements

An open door chest stretch is a simple way to release tightness in the chest and shoulders. Standing in a doorway, place your forearms on the frame at shoulder height and gently step through until you feel a stretch across your chest. Hold for 20–30 seconds, breathing deeply, to help counteract rounded shoulders and improve posture. Follow us on YouTube!
