Back2School Bash | Saturday, August 23

The 22nd Annual Rainier Beach Back2School Bash will take place on August 23rd from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 8825 Rainier Ave S, Seattle, WA 98118. This free community event will feature backpacks and school supplies, food, entertainment, kids activities, and family resource booths. Families are encouraged to pre-register HERE to help shorten wait times. The event is made possible through the support of local organizations including Seattle Parks & Recreation, Seattle Public Schools, Public Health Seattle & King County, and more. Black Arts Festival | Saturday, August 13 + Sunday, August, 24

Festival Sundiata presents Black Arts Fest on August 23 and 24 at the Armory Food & Event Hall and Mural Amphitheatre, as part of the Seattle Center Festál series. This free, public event celebrates Black art, culture, and community. Seattle Center Festál is a year-round series of 25 free cultural festivals produced in partnership with community organizations. Since celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2022, Festál has embraced a new era of hybrid programming, sharing stories and traditions with audiences in-person and online. Learn more HERE!

The Black Rodeo | Saturday, September 13

This year’s Black Rodeo is riding straight into the heart of Pioneer Square on Saturday, September 13, from 6:00-10:00 PM for the ultimate night of culture, music, and community impact through arts.
